Our Heritage & Purpose
Mahabodhi School, Diyun was established in 2003 under the aegis of Mahabodhi Maitri Mandala (Arunachal Branch), with the blessings of its founder, Acharya Buddharakkhita. The school grew from humble beginnings in simple bamboo huts, and — through generous support from villagers and well-wishers — acquired 29 acres of land in Jyotipur village for its present campus.

Mahabodhi School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Affiliation Number: 2230064. Saras+1 The school continues to uphold CBSE’s standards, offering students a recognized, robust academic pathway.
