Our Heritage & Purpose

Mahabodhi School, Diyun was established in 2003 under the aegis of Mahabodhi Maitri Mandala (Arunachal Branch), with the blessings of its founder, Acharya Buddharakkhita. The school grew from humble beginnings in simple bamboo huts, and — through generous support from villagers and well-wishers — acquired 21 acres of land in Jyotipur village for its present campus.
